im running the 191.07's & there's still no temp monitoring through EVGA tuner.., & the clocks dont settle back to 2D, even though the release notes show that bug was fixed....

cmon nvidia these 191s have been pretty crap....

    bring on the 192.xxs

If you check the EVGA Precision forums, there is a way to fix the no temps in Precision with the 190.XX drivers.

I'm not at home, but it has to do with removing specific entries from the Registry and rebooting.

I've done it myself and now Precision checks temps.

Also, I've seen with the new drivers that once I exit a 3D app, the clocks go back down to normal 2D speeds.

i'll have a look over at EVGA for the temp fix (though ive reverted to RT after a long time away....lol), the 2D clock issue may be a problem with my rig then, but the down-clock hasn't worked correctly since the first 190's if i recall...

its a pig b/c it adds 10c to my idle GPU temp....

w00t! 191.07 is working great on my rig. It seems to run cooler than previous versions, my GPU fan doesn't seem to scream as much as it did. GPU fan slows down to normal after exiting games/as it cools down.

    Hi All

When you have installed the new 191.07 drivers, win7 updates will show new drivers for NVIDIA, stay clear they are the old drivers.
Dont get them from WU (hide those updates), always get them direct from the nvidia website.

191.07 is fine here. Now both GPU's on my GTX295 drop back to 2D when idle. Still got that 59hz vs. 60hz issue in Windows 7 however (meaning not in Vista), but am trying to ignore that.

The 191.07 reduced my WEI from 5.4 to 4.9 and that was on the processor subscore. The 191.03 betas are perfect

I lost temps in Evga precision, so I opened Riva tuner. This tells me I'm idling a 36 c previous to installing them I was at 46

191.07s are very good. Need for Speed: Shift plays a lot better now and runs a lot smoother.

Also on a side note, the 15.51 nForce drivers really improve RAID performance, so a couple of great new drivers from nvidia :)

Im having a hassle with my 191.07 update .. I dl it directly from nvida.com and when i run the update everything goes smooth UNTIL at the end whin its at "Installing driver components"

..There it's stuck for ages and finally the message "System has not been modified. To install this program at a later time , run installation again."

Now I've tried removing the old driver before installing but this always pop ups .. I'm left relying on the driver version that came on the CD inside the box when I got the card :) (8600gts)

    Any thoughts?

    p.s. wee first post !

    hmm........

i get this message on my machine if attempting to install a driver that matches the existing one...

do you know what driver you currently have..?? if not run ''GPUZ'' then post us up a screenie.

have you tried to install the latest driver in ''safe mode'', this is a good way to be sure your bypassing ALL other S/W.
