Here's 2 screen shots of my NVIDIA Control Panel.
I have definitely seen an improvement on 196.21 x64 drivers
    Thumbs up to NVIDIA
Do you by any chance use precision to OC your GPU? If so, then check to see if the "shader clock" option is grayed out or not. it appears grayed out in my case, I can't move the slider, and the unlink option is disabled too.

I thought that was only for EVGA GPU's?

If i really wanted to, I could download it, install, and see what I can post here for you, if you were that interested?

Btw..I don't OC my GPU's, they're already factory OC, and quite happy with their performance.

be careful when updating to these drivers and keep a copy of the old ones handy. we are seeing a lot of users experiencing issues with nvidia cards recently and i suspect this driver to be the cause

as originally mentioned in my previous post, i think NVIDIA needs to release another update to address the issue of Shader Clock adjustments

    overall, I'm ok here.

    Thanx for the info grimreaper.

I"ve also verified that a lot of people are having that issue, and reverting to the previous forceware is the only alternative.

Unwinder, the guy who developed Rivatuner, and also Precision for EVGA is looking in to it and seems to have found a workaround to it. For more info visit the thread: 196.21 WHQL Breaks AB and Precision... - Guru3D.com Forums

Yes I am updated to 196.21 x64 drivers and am experiencing some weird stuff. First when I go to Control Panel, and select "Device Settings". In the "Current Settings" tab there is no sliders for adjustment of shader or memory, just core and I cant even slide it. Next problem is my stored profiles and rules are working somewhat, I OCed my card and it will change profile when I launch game and will change profiles when GPU temp reaches certain temps, but it doesnt change my settings of core, shader, memory? I am reading here that others are experiencing similar problems, just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same problem as I. Thanks
