    Hello again JG, just thought I'd mention my problem with build 7057 and Nvidia drivers 185.66.
    When playing visualizations in Winamp it flickers back to my wallpaper with the 185.66 drivers.
    I presume from Skunksmash's post it doesn't happen with later builds.
    That's good news but I'll still wait for the release candidate as I'm bored with reinstalling stuff etc.

    no video drivers working for me with geforce 8600 gts and windows 7 build 7077.not even 174 and 175 version who worked with all previous windows 7 version.

    Windows 7 updated my nvidia drivers to 8.15.11.8172 from 8.15.11.8171 and calls it a prerelease WDDM 1.0

    Thanks, just noticed I have one too on Windows update but it is still WDDM 1.1 on mine, I will see what it says when I have it installed.

    OK just finished and it is still WDDM 1.1

    Finally got it installed after finding it necessary to disable Avast A/V, only to find I still am stuck at 59hz refresh rate as per another thread. But the WDDM changed to 1.0.
