Windows 7: missing 1920x1080 resolution

OK, same problem, purchased a larger monitor... LG 32 MP58, pop-up said, recommended setting, 1920 x 1080
so, I set that
but, playing with the settings in windows settings, selected "detect...
"
resolution not as clear and now the 1920 x 1080 option is gone from the list...
