    Screen Resolution changes automatically

Hello, I've just installed Windows 7 Home Premium in my Toshiba Satellite M200 Notebook 2 weeks ago. And it seems i have a problem with my VGA (Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family).

Sometimes when i'm trying to boot my notebook and Windows shows Login Screen, my screen resolution changes to lower resolution. After login, problem remains the same plus Windows disable Aero function. But if I restart my notebook, the problem's gone. It seems Windows failed to load VGA driver when booting.

I already re-installing the VGA driver (got 8.15.10.1912 version from Windows update), also installing Intel's newest driver yesterday (8.15.10.1930) but have the same problem this morning. I never had this problem with Windows Vista.

In Addition, in my startup program, i only load 5 applications : Kaspersky AV, HD Audio Control Panel, and 3 Intel's program (Keyboard Shortcut, Tray Icon and Screen Resolution Utility)

    Any help will be appreciated.

Check Toshiba and/or Intel to see if they have a Chipset Driver update. The chipset drivers define (identify) the devices on the motherboard and that can cause many hardware problems.

    thanks for your reply ..

what's the different between graphics driver and chipset driver actually?

because when i'm checking into Intel website, they only give me 1 driver, Graphics driver ver. 8.15.10.1930 ..
but when i'm visiting the Toshiba web, they have this :

Intel Chipset SW Installation Utility for Windows 7 (32/64)(v9.1.1.1015; 09-03-2009; 4.52M)

Should i install this program ?
