    ATI 9.4 Beta Catalyst 8.60-090316

Just installed these, no issues so far.

Here's the place where I found the links to download.

    Catalyst 8.60-090316 Vista/XP - Guru3D.com Forums

Some of the tips from that thread...
It's reccomended to unistall the old first.
For W7 you can use the patch, copy the patch files to the folder of the new drivers so it installs normaly on W7.
    \VISTA_8.60\VISTA_8.60\Packages\Drivers\Display\
    Then just run the setup.

    Goodluck

I feel sorry for anyone who has an ATI product, it really doesn't say much for them when they can't even get a simple installer to work, all you have to do with Nvidia drivers is install them, restart and your good to go, never had a problem with one of their drivers and never had to uninstall a driver to install a new one, compared to ATI that seem to have broken installers and even when you do install them they are still rubbish.

    Nvidia FTW

Overall as far as drivers go, they know how to stuff them. They had a good run with the last couple (installer wise at least )... then again, I seem to recall the Nvidia boat wasn't always smooth sailing either

in response: I used Nvidia for the last 5 years, and I switched to radeon when the HD 4870 came out. I wouldn't go back now. Look up comparisons...forget software, that's manageable, most of us here know what we are doing with computers enough to make stuff work. Hardware matters.

Well I didn't say anything about the actual hardware, it's just strange that they can't make decent drivers, There seems to be allot of people on this forum having problems with their drivers, compared to Nvidia that doesn't seem to have any, aside from the people with ancient hardware that is.

Not bad marks you have there, is that with Crossfire or a single card?

Here's my latest scores with a single GTX260
