Hi there......
what does the device manager state under ''display adaptors''..??
if your card has not been generically detected by the OS the basic video driver windows has installed to view the desktop is probably ''up to date'', thats what i think is happening.
did you just build this rig, or swap GFX cards..??
you might try reseating the card see if that helps, also if it is a new build remember to install your chipset drivers before you try & update the GPU :)

i tried to update from there...and it shows that is up to date
i installed the driver using windows update
and when i go into windows experience index it shows :
Graphics
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total available graphics memory Not detected
Dedicated graphics memory 0 MB
Dedicated system memory 0 MB
Shared system memory 0 MB
i installed windows 7 couple of days ago ... vista showed my real graphic memory
Hi.
You need to fill in your System Specs, so people know what graphics you're supposed to have, as so far all you've stated is that your card is not detected and that Windows shows it's up to date. PC, Laptop, 32 or 64bit, NVIDIA or ATI?
Laptop , i bought it 4 years ago , Dell Inspiton 1300 , OS : Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit , Video Card : Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family 128mb
Because windows is installing a standard vga driver for it. Try going to the Intel site for the drivers http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sear....aspx?lang=eng
