    Hello Harry,

If youre not looking to game, i'm going to recommend you this card. Its an exellent card for the value, and has HDMI, which you'll probably need.

The Radeon HD 4850 is a fine choice.

But if the OP is not looking to game, then I'd go for a low end, low power consumption Radeon HD 5000 series card.

Radeon HD 5670 would be my choice.

Only a 10 $ diffirence, who knows, he might wanna game in the future, and he wont regret spending the extra 10$.

I guess the kicker here would be the prospect(s) of gaming.

If he's confident he's not gonna game anytime soon, and goes ahead and buys a 4850, he's gonna be stuck with the bigger, hotter, louder and more power hungry card.

Aah, those things i did not think of. Well, theres also the fact that the 4850 would speed up his system. I really dont know which one i would take, but since i game, i would take the 4850. Your call OP.

Well, if you have a better graphics card, it will take load off the processor when using Aero. Am i right?
