Windows 7: ATI HD5770 Problem With Acer 23" Monitor

its a scaling thing - go to ccc, then graphics tab , then go to desktops & displays , then go to bottom of page & right click the picture of the screen you want to adjust then select configure , then make sure enable gpu scaling is NOT ticked , then select scaling options at the top of page - here you will find a slider with underscan & overscan - drag it to the right (overscan) this will solve the problem - some monitors / hdtvs force there own scaling - this option is a good workaround by ati & will still give you a perfect 1.1 pixel ratio

Glad to help - catalyst can be a bit awkward to find stuff but its all in there - its why i switched from nvidia to ati (nvidia control panel is bad) plus i find that the video output is generally sharper than nvidia as well
