Had Aero in RC, but not in Win7 Retail?

    what video card is in your machine? if ATI get the latest catalist for your series

    If Nvidia go to their website and use the scan my hardware feature. and select win 7 drivers not vista also make sure you get the 32bit or 64bit correct too.

    Or if like me going direct to NVIDIA doesn't work, use laptopvideo2go.com with a driver from there and a modded INF. (guide in my sig)

    There are two Radeon Mobility chipsets listed for that model -- neither of which has Win7 drivers.

    The best that can be done for either is to download the legacy driver (as I had mentioned earlier) and install it win Vista compatiblity mode.

    yes just like my ATI TV Wonder card.. drivers never work.. no update for win 7, typical ATI

    I'm not surprised ATI won't support old DirectX 9 hardware - why bother?

    well against the others that were available that was the best one.. but it works with media center in compatibility mode for Vista.

    But the ATI media center is non compatable maybe it has to do with the Dx9 thing you were saying though I saw nothing of Dx in the documentation.
