    2nd video card issues

    Hi there.
So getting straight to the point here's the situation. I have 2 geforce 9500 video cards (atleast that's what the box says), and they both have slots for 2 moniters in each. Now, the problem I'm having is that the the 2nd video card isn't picking up my 3rd or 4th moniter. Any ideas or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

    Welcome!

Try removing the first card and putting the 2nd card in its slot.

Ok well I'm not too great with computers, so I don't wanna try doing that and mess something up. I use this computer for work and need 4 monitors so I can't just switch them, I need to use all available slots.

    Thanks for the suggestion:)

Somehow we need to determine if your video card is defective, or if you have a driver issue.

Maybe it's even a motherboard issue.

The computer is less than a month old, so I don't think anything is broken.

You never know, maybe it shipped with a bad card. Electronics can fail even when they are new, for no apparent reason.

    he can be right.

@Beeshner: if the 1st video card doesnt work on slot 2 but does work on slot 1 or your 2nd card works on slot 1 but not on slot 2, it is your motherboard.
but if 2nd video card doesnt work on slot 1 and 2, its the video card.

Those 9500GT's support SLI? If so make sure that SLI is disabled in the Nvidia control panel..
