true but so far the benches are showing that its not going to be as fast as the 5970..... so much less the 5990

here's a bench thrown together on a tech site, it shows the new GTX480 / HD5870 Heaven benchmark run, with the guy's own HD5970 results using the same CPU settings.

I've always used Nvidia but you have to hand it to AMD ,since taking over ATI they have really amped it up in the video card wars. Looking to build a new system within the next 9 months so we'll see where we are at then.Fabe
