HDMI to DVI Converter?

    HDMI to DVI Converter?

Bought an HDMI cable and an HDMI ready video card thinking my monitor had HDMI input...sadly, it only has DVI.

So, I'm still using VGA. Will buying an HDMI to DVI Converter give me noticeable improvement in quality, or no?

    Thanks

might as well buy a dvi cable. they should be cheap (hard to find tho inh my experience but should have came with your monitor.) its the same thing as HDMI, minus no sound. if your monitor had sound it would have possible came with one.

as for VGA vs DVI. you will defiantly get a better picture since analog does not compare to digital.

I got a very durable cable off of newegg for cheap.
    Newegg.com - OKGEAR 6 ft. DVI DIGITAL DUAL LINK CABLE,Black Model GC6DVI2 - Cables
ACtually got 2 of them, and yes DVI is much greater than VGA
