    Informed opinion would suggest that the ATI Radeon HD 5970 is pretty good but it depends rather on your budget! I have to say that I have no personal experience of high end graphic cards but at around 530 pounds it would be way beyond my means. But then I am not into gaming so have no need!
    BTW I see you are in the UK but are you aware that your timezone shows you to be in the USA!

    ok lets see you have a dual core..... hm.... shoot for a 5770 or a 4870..... depending on your psu, do you know how many watts it is? and will you be gaming on your computer?

    Yes he will,

    BFBC2 w7

    And agree with your recommendations, as long as it is PCI-E and not AGP and the power supply is up to it.

    ok if its pci-e all you need to worry about is your psu wattage.... actually all we really need to know is the number of amps on the 12+ rail, which should be on the label on the side of your psu

    Best of luck with your new purchase. The 5670 is a decent low end budget card. Here is a review of the card in general;

    With that card as long as your CPU doesn't hold it back too much, depending on what resolution you run at it should be good for a mix medium and low (low due to the CPU more than the card),

    Battlefield: Bad Company 2 GPU Performance In-depth > 1680x1050 – High/Medium/Low - TechSpot

    which is far better than your old card which can't even run it.
