    Thinkpad X300 upgraded window 7 monitor dead


    I upgraded 1 week ago everything was working well until this morning. Notebook is connected to external monitor HP. While I was working on external monitor notebook screen started to flicker. I saw it died on me. In this forum seaching for solutions.

    1. I have updated all my thinkpad software compliance to Window 7 as I typed this.
    2. I will try uninstalling display adapter after I post this - 1 of the suggestion I read.
    3. I will unplug everything from my notebook and reboot - 1 of the suggestion I read.

    I shall see whether the above works. Wish me luck.

    If that doesn't work, I would suspect it is a hardware issue.

    Yes it is. Inverter blew. Can you recommend where I can get one on line?

Hi, i recently installed windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron 6000. No aero effect as my video card driver was not installed. Could any body help me where to get drivers and how to install it for my video card please? Thanks.
