Aero peek to desktop distorts wallpaper

    Hi everybody,

I'm having a bit of issue with Aero peek to desktop feature. When I hover over that portion of the system tray area, the wallpaper appears distorted. I see weird bands all over the wallpaper. I have attached sample images.

Is this normal? This is a brand new i7 build. I have a PNY Nvidia 9800 GT 1gb DDR3 card. I also installed the latest drivers from NVidia website.

    Thanks for any help.

I was googling for this issue and found some images which also have these bands on them. It looks like a common thing -

I was worried that this could be a graphic card issue or something as I've built this system myself from scratch.

Thanks for your reply, Frostmourne. But I don't understand why MS did this. Why cannot it leave wallpaper as-is ?

So that you know you're peeking.
