Windows 7 users,help!

Hi,I have windows7 and I'm wondering if its at the root of all my problems.
I bought my computer at the beging of November last year and I thought
it was amazing becuase its sole use was for gaming and it was great
then about 2 months later it started to play up.First of all came the
'grey screening' it was from my graphics card ATI Radeon 5700 and it
only happens to a select few say ATI and they've been working on a
"fix" for some time now,So..now my computer which I bought for the
sole use of gaming no longer 'games' after sending it back to the
computer makers they say they can't find anything wrong with it
so all they done was wipe it clean (reformat).For a few days I
had no problems then came these blue screenings.So now my computer
keeps bluescreening randomly along with the 'grey screening' so
when ever i try to play a game i get the grey screen when ever i try
just cuasual browse through the web i get a bsod (blue screen of death)
In attempts to write this,I have blue screened 3 times.
SO do any of you have anything you might know that could help!!
You might ask why is this moron posting on w7 forums about hardware or
software when i read an article about the 'grey screening'
this came up

How do i compress all the minidump files?

Did you try a new video cable? Make sure its pushed in all teh way on both ends. I've seen screen colors changing many times and it's pretty much always been video cable/connector issues.

You need to try ALL of the drivers for your Display adapter, including Vista (also installed in Compatibility mode) and beta drivers.

Roll back drivers which don't work correctly on button on Driver tab for Device in Dev Mgr.

You will solve this problem when you are so familar with your display adapter driver options that you know them from memory. You cannot just be an onlooker with these types of issues, but need to research and try fixes until you master the problem.

Bluescreening is a warning telling you there is a hardware issue and windows shuts down to avoid frying anything. If you can without voiding your warranty and if you feel confident you could try this.

Uninstall your video drivers then shut off the pc. Turn off the power switch (if you have one) on the power supply (or remove the power cord) Drain the power from the system by pushing the power button. Open the case and pull out the video card and reseat it (be vey careful) Reattach the video cable, turn the switch back on from the power supply and restart the pc. Wait and let windows install the video drivers. After it does, restart the pc and make sure it is set to the native resolution of the monitor.

My method would be to change the video card to see if that is the issue, but I have lots of parts. You probably don`t have that option.
