    Can't get resolution to full size of monitor


    Long story short, purchased LG W2353 when I was running Windows 7 Ultimate trial edition. Hooked it up via HDMI and it worked fine.

    Now, I purchased Windows 7 Home Premium, installed, same config (HDMI) and now the screen resolution won't adjust to fill the entire monitor like it used to.

    I've tried rolling back drivers on my ATI and the LG, and then updating... No changes. My resolution says 1920 x 1080 (recommended) with nothing higher..

    The thing that kills me is that NOTHING has changed in my setup except the fact I now use a licensed operating system.

    What gives?

    I'm confused.

    It appears that the native reolution of the monitor is 1920X1080. Nothing higher should be available. That ought to fill the screen. (I admit I've only used DVI - never HDMI.)

    Have you installed the drivers for it?

    Set 1080p (1920x1080x60) then go into CCC - Desktop & Displays - Right Click small HDTV/Monitor - Configure - Scalling - Underscan/Overscan and set this back to 0%

    fixed! thanks. i wasnt sure what all that catalyst stuff was about. i just had to set the oversize up and it was fixed.
