I am gonna fan boy with 5770, but Sapphire 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 Video Card - 1GB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0, CrossFireX Ready, Dual DVI, Display Port, HDMI at TigerDirect.com
XFX fans arent the greatest. And free shipping + taxless to certain states is always nice.
I say the ATI 5770 as it works great with all games at highest settings and have had no probs with my XFX XXX edition.
thank you! good to know!
actually i got a little more money, so i re-evaluated my choices and just ordered MSI R5770 HAWK
XFX got only 1 year warranty here and MSI 3 years. so choice is no brainier
Windows 7 would not have a big difference using DX 11 vs 10.
Though I know a lot of new games will have DX11, and I did see some recent videos of DX10 vs 11, and there is a scary big difference (as in 3d effects), and I was surprised. I can only hope that my new card will be sufficient for now, or that I can get DX11 with it when it becomes common.

great choice.
I've had the MSI R5770 Hawk for a little over a month and its performed like a champ. It's quieter and cooler than most reference cards, even if you don't want to oc it. But if you do, Afterburner (Riva Tuner) and Kompressor (Furmark) will allow to reach 1000 mhz core and 1400 mhz memory pretty easily. I've been running 1008 core and 1408 mhz mem with no issues.
once again, good luck
Jake
