Toshiba L510 (i3) with Intel HD Graphics

I am using Toshiba L510 PSLGQL-002001 model. I'm having problem with some of the drivers. Graphics and web cam seem not work at their best performance.

I've already installed the latest driver for the Graphic chip set. I'm using Intel HD Graphics (Core i3) with 8.15.10.2086 driver version. when I check it using Everest, it says that this machine does not support Aero. here's the screenshot (everest.png)

Then I check it using GPU-Z tool and here's the screenshot (gpuz.png)

    Please help.

    regards,
    Hamzah Iqbal (blackmowe)

Make sure you've run the Windows Experience Index (WEI) before trying to start Aero.

@ zen00 : thanks for reply, but I've already done the WEI assesment. And the base score is 3.9 for Graphic Aero. But the main problem here is why'd GPU-Z can't detect many of my graphic features? as shown in my gpu-z attachment.

    @blackmowe
GPU-z isn't fully functional with most laptops. You would need something like SiSoft Sandra 2010SP1a (2010.4.16.36) or Everest v5.30.2065 Beta (both are the latest version and now support the Core i3). Back to the original problem. This is a very new Laptop for the Asian market. What's exactly wrong with the graphics (on-chip Core i3). Or is it just not as quick as you thought it would be? Is Aero not actually working or is it just the older version of EVEREST reporting it so?

all the drivers can be found here:

    Click on Product - Notebooks / Series - Satellite / Model - L510 / Operating System - Windows7 then Show Drivers

@ fabe : I'll post the screenshot soon. I'm not with my machine right now.

@ rik55 : the problem is while I'm playing DotA (Warcraft III), I got a lagging game. I though it was caused by my graphic adapter. Then I check it using GPU-Z and Everest 5.30.1900. And the screenshot just like what I posted above. Ok, I'll check it using sisoft sandra and newer version of everest. But I think my problem still not solved yet.

    Hi @blackmowe

I have the same problem man. Some basic information about my notebook:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits
    Processor : Intel Core i3 M330
    RAM: 4GB DDR3
Video: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD -GMA HD

When i try to play DotA on Warcraft Frozen Throne , the game freezes for 3-4 seconds every 10minutes...Always happens that. I think that can be the multicore processor or the GMA HD. I updated my drivers and disable many features on GMA HD but still the same problem. There is a interesting link that i found searching on Google : Dual Core Gaming Fix Guide Dual Core Gaming Fix Guide - [H]ard|Forum . Try Fix #4 - Set the Affinity Manually. For me not solve at all, but got a little better. For newer games it not happens.

If u find something for our problem, please, stay in touch and send me an email or reply this topic.
