    Windows graphic problem

    Hi,

I have recently installed windows 7 ultimate -- my problem is that every time I move a windows page/image it leaves behind a trace... like a rectangle/square outline. How do I get rid of that

Thanks in advance for your assistance - this is a cool forum.

Welcome to Seven Forums. We are going to need more information about your system, such as 32 or 64 bit Windows Seven. And for you to fill in your system specs. At the top of the page you'll see user cp click on it then scroll down, on the left you'll see edit system specs. You probably already know this since when I clicked on My System Specs lower left corner of your thread the only thing listed is OS I don't know. It's difficult to help when we don't know what hardware you have. Thanks. Fabe

Yes,and thanks. It is a strange behavior. I would first suggest making sure you have the latest driver for you Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M. Sony eSupport - VGN-NS110E - Software Updates & Drivers They list 2 Video drivers under Win 7 Ultimate 32bit. first one mobile Intel 4 Series Chipset Family Driver Update 11/20/2009 version 8.14.10.1872 25.22mb Then the intel Graphics Driver 10/08/2009 8.15.10.1855 26.24mb I would make sure I have these installed. Then I also see where they have Under Sony applications VAIO Hardware Diagnostic Software. 10/07/09 3.9.0.090715 7.21mb That might be worth downloading and running if the problem persists. Fabe

1)Click on Start button, right click on "Computer", click on properties.
2)In the system properties window that opens, click on "Advanced" tab.
    3)Under "Performance", click on "Settings"
4)A performance Options window opens up. In "Visual Effects" tab, uncheck "Show windows contents while dragging" and "Show translucent Selection Rectangle".
