software to control fan speed gtx 295

Hello, what software can I use to manually control the fan speed on my gtx 295 video card? I think I am having heat issues.
    Thanks

    Either of these,

    MSI Afterburner

EVGA | EVGA Precision | EVGA Precision

should work. Or you can try RivaTuner,

    RivaTuner v2.24c download from Guru3D.com

which the other two are based on. RT may not work as it hasn't been updated in a while, and may have problems it you are using an unsupported driver.

Just to add a note I like and use the Evga Precision. I have used it with Evga,XFX and BFG cards, these 3 I can confirm. Fabe

Just to mention, if you use RivaTuner on 7 x64, you will need to disable driver signing by pressing "F8" during the computer's post and selecting "disable driver signing" as RivaTuner needs to install it's own driver and as it's unsigned, x64 won't allow it to install by default.

Though personally I'd use EVGA Precision for fan speed, it's quick and easy to install and you can set fan speeds easily. I can also confirm you can use it with other cards than just EVGA's as I used it on my XFX ones.

I had no problem with the driver signing on install of the MSI Afterburner. I didn't know about the EVGA product. I have no problems with the Afterburner. They look similar.

I liked EVGA's tool also. Will install again when my new cards comes in next week.

Hope so, all three of them are made by the same person.

Ditto. I use it to show temps, fan speed, and fps both on my G19 keyboard's LCD and as an overlay for DX9+ games.

You do realise that Nvidia's ESA (Nvidia Control Panel with ESA tools) has this option.

    Under device settings.
