This is a desktop computer with a PCI-e graphics card, right ?
Do you know how to get into Bios setup during the boot up by usually tapping the DEL key ?
Just look for a section sub menu that MB VGA as seconday or disabled.
PCI-e as Primary Video Display. Save settings & re-boot.
Make sure your video cable is plugged into the video card & NOT the motherboard connectuion.
I am having the almost exact problem, but it does display my other graphics card(ATI Radeon HD 4200). please help and let me know what more info you need. I get to my boot up menu with F2. and did not see anything like what you described.
*Also when I try to open catalyst it says " Cannot start because the currently active GPU is not supported."
