    Eyefinity question


    Not a problem, but an annoyance to me: Anyone know of a way to prevent apps/windows openening to the full desktop? I have Hydravision installed and I'm using the Grid feature, but it allows attaching to a grid after the app/window is already opened to the full desktop.

    Solved (?)


    What I've found is to never maximize a window to full desktop.

    I'll stretch a window to one monitor's size and leave at that. Hydravision will "remember" window positioning and upon subsequent re-opening of the app, the window will fill one monitor instead of maximizing to the full desktop.

    So, I guess it's kinda solved.

What ATI cards can support ATI eyefinity alone?
For a while I have been using 3 1600x900 displays, that works fine. Now I have upgrade to 3 1920x1080 displays and I have a problem. 2 displays work at 1920x1080 but the display-port display only works at 1440x900. I have a ATI certified display port adapter. My card is ATI Radeon HD 5770. 174281
