    hm, I wonder how well that backplate will be, or if it will only help a small bit.

    and why for non watercoolers only. lol. cuz the screws are different.
    I've yet to try the 256 drivers, I think I'll wait the 5 days or so to get the official ones.

    I don't think there are any 256 drivers out yet regardless. Just some benches from someone who had access to test them.

    EVGA is also going to release a "high flow" bracket, test give about a 3c to 5c drop in temp, backplate will give about a 2c to 3c drop = combo possible 5c to 8c drop.

    That's not a bad drop in temp, with just a redesign of the plate. Might have to get me one of them. They have it for the 480 too?
