    Crossfire x 5770


    Hey guys i now have 2 ati 5770 i wanna know once you put the cards in both slots do you connect both the wires to the cards also what do most people over clock these graphic cards to? oh and one more thing my windows experience is a 7.4 shouldnt it be higher one 5870 is like 7.8 i dont get it...

    -XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB 2x crossfirex
    -Amd Phenom 2 x4 965 Black 3.4 stock OC 4.0 16x
    -Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
    -Atapi light scribe dvd burner
    -Cpu cooler- Thermaltake CL-W0121 Water Cooling System
    -Fsb-250

    yeah what was also weird is last night i found out all the pci slots are not all the same speed

    I'm surprised that a 790FX chipset would do that though. I thought the whole point of the FX chipset was that they're performance boards for Crossfire. Might just be a BIOS setting... or lazy engineering...

    So are mine, but they go down to x8 with two cards installed.

    Had a look at the MSI site...according to that both PCI slots are 16 lane...interested in knowing how this pans out as I have just purchased a MSI X58 premium board, tho i believe this mobo needs a bios update on install..

    in hindsight i should have bought the Asus P6T
