i have had this GPU for a month now and noticed a few odd things with it such as it only get max 70FPS in MW2 when my mates less powerful 4650 get 80 he said how is that possible when my card out performs it hands down in spec and use is my card faulty or something?

Some of these thoughts may not be relevant but first thing would be the comparison. Their is more involved in frames per second then just the card, programs running in the background, chipsets, cpu, memory and settings. IMO you would have to have the exact same setup with the only difference being the graphics card in order to get a true FPS comparison. Fabe

Completely agree with thefabe, especially this part....

Actually that's how cards are compared against one another. So...unless your friend has the exact setup as you, using the same setting you use, you really can't fairly compare performances against one another.

In short I would look for similar systems and then do some comparisons.

Again, you can't fairly compare the two cards unless everything else is the same. Look up some card reviews and notice they use the same specs for comparisions.

At to be honest we can't say if your card is performing any less than his because we don't know his system configuration.

If you're concerned about the performance of that card and the game visit the game's site and ask about similiar systems and their performance.

    My two cents.

And on the software side, you have to look at what resolutions and eye candy is turned on / disabled. Are you running on a 30" monitor compared to your buddy's 17" monitor? If you're running with settings MAX and your buddy is on MIN, there will be a difference in your FPS--in addition to the input the other posters submitted.

it could do but i disagree im sure its under performing when all forums and youtube showing that my card on less powerfull systems get 100+FPS so i still think there may be a fault with the card itself.
