    Appreciate any help..

32 BIT WIN 7 CANNOT USE 4 GIGS OF RAM. PERIOD. The max (without special hardware) is usually around 3.25 gigs. the rest is probably used by shared video memory.

If your system is slower than normal it is from something else. I do wonder with a quad core why you are running 32 bit

As Ken said above, why the heck are you running a 32bit OS? You are hampering your performance, wasting the money you spent on that 4Gb of RAM, and putting that awesome CPU to waste.
The good news is that since you already own W7 Ult you can just download or borrow a copy of the W7 Ult 64bit OS and install it, and use your SAME CD Key. There is no need to buy a new copy (Or you should be able to call MS to get one, might be a small fee).

For more information on 32bit vs 64bit: https://www.sevenforums.com/general-d...omparison.html

In the end, as Ken said, there is LITERALLY no way for a 32 bit OS to use more than about 3.25Gb of Memory. THIS INCLUDES your RAM AND VRAM!

    Hope this helps.
