thanks a lot of you guys, all of your comments and suggestion is very helpfull on me on how to choose...since im using this g210 maybe i will chooose this gt240 as they are same width and length, but doubles the height of the g210..well actually as i try to open the case,i looked at below and theres much enough room for the bigger card but i didnt see any other slot except for the slot that the g210 was occupied...Now is there any other card that has the same size of gt240 but has more speed or what the other called horsepower in terms of gaming?

Specs on the motherboard in his HP,
HP and Compaq Desktop PCs Motherboard Specifications (Eton) HP Pavilion p6255d Desktop PC - HP technical support (United Kingdom - English) Unless there is something in the first PCI-E 1x slot next to the PCI-E 16x slot (where the current G210), then as long as there is enough space from the back panel to the front of the case (for most of the cards mentioned so far, you need 10-10.5") then any card will fit (even if the card has a dual slot fan on it). Now with that said you will need a new power supply as well. djanggo do you have any links to sites in the Philippines? Would make it easier to make a recommendation if we can see what things are going for where you are. |

1. you'll need a new power supply for any newer better gfx card, something with atleast 400w & a PCIe 6pin connector
2. I would recommend the GTS 250, or HD 5750, either form XFX or Zotac. |

To confirm what others have said:
Your G210 may be a low-profile card, but your PC accepts full-height cards. (I suppose that your G210 has a full-height slot adapter, even though it's basically a low-profile card.) I haven't found a maximum card length specified for it, though. There are card better than the G210 that still don't require auxiliary PCI-E power connections. (nVidia GTS 240, ATI Radeon HD 5670, for example. The latter is a DX11 part.) Whether your 300W PS would be up to the task is worrisome, even though you wouldn't need at PCI-E power connectors. |

Every PC needs good graphics.
under Specifications (the OEM channel only G310 is the exact same card for anyone that has one). Unfortunately Nvidia's marketing speak makes the card out to be more than it is. It is OK for HTPC use, but for gaming forget it. Quote:

Upgrading video card We just had our PC fixed by replacing the motherboard as well as its RAM with new one while retaining the still useful parts.
