Screen Problem

My screen resolution is 1920x1080. When I lower the resolution this happens. It also happens in games with lower resolution.

Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

I think this can be fixed by having a fiddle with Nvidia Control Panel/ATI Catalyst Control.

It will be under display properties/preferences with the app.

Post back with any results or if you need help.

You need to adjust the underscan/overscan control in your Nvidia control panel. I use ATI, so I'm not sure what it's called on your system, but that's what's happening. The display is underscanning. It happens on my LCD monitor if I switch to the HDMI input sometimes.

I use ATI as well, how do I change that setting? I couldn't find it anywhere.

I dont see that tab on my CCC. But I updated my video card drivers and it fixed it self. Before in the Notebook Panel Properties ,the scaling option was set to cented and when i moved it to full screen it would go back to centered so it might be because of that. But thanks anyway.
