I had weird jerky 3D animation in WoW with 197.45. My char would jerkly turn from left to right.

me too same issues as i had with the new 2 series drivers BUT i have found a fix.................uninstall drivers AND physX via control panel , boot into safemode and using DRIVER CLEANER PRO (not driver sweeper) select multiple cleaning filters and clean with Nvidia display and NVidia control panel (i have the full version of DC pro i dont know what options are available on the free version , but its only about 6 quid for a lifetime licence and its saved my life a few times )

then on reboot run the driver install STRAIGHT AWAY before win 7 starts installiong that shitty generic driver you wont need to reboot

For me the only driver with no problem is the shitty generic... but I did not try this driver yet hehe. Got my exams so currently i dont have time to play games.... the only real thing I am missing is temp monitoring and this shitty driver gives me a .1 more on the windows 7 experience rating than 196.21.

My BSOD problems could have been an old usb webcam or maybe the logitech drivers for my G15. Since then I unistalled all those and bought a newer webcam so i will try install a new driver in 3 weeks time when i finish my exams

Speaking of Windows auto installing drivers after Safe Mode & Driver Sweeper/Cleaner Pro ... is there a way to stop auto installing drivers? or have it come up with a window prompt?

Seeing that you got problems I might actually stay with the generic. The only real thing I miss is temp monitoring, I can still play COD4, PES2010, gw with good fps. (have not tried wow yet on windows 7)

Funnily enough the only game I can't currently play is age of empires 2.... (very old) graphics seem corrupt - I only play aoe2 multiplayer but I don't play it much hehe. Tried reinstalling the game but no work.
