    Best Graphic Card

I want to upgrade my graphic card. I have a XFX 9500 GT 1GB now

I would like to upgrade it to a GTX 260 or a HD 5770. Please suggest me as to which one would be better?

and also I have a motherboard XFX nforce 630i (PCIE 1.0 slot). Can I install any of the 2.0 cards on it?

    Please suggest ASAP

PCIe 2.0 motherboard slots are fully backward compatible with PCIe v1.x cards. PCIe 2.0 cards are also generally backward compatible with PCIe 1.x motherboards, using the available bandwidth of PCI Express 1.1. Overall, graphic cards or motherboards designed for v 2.0 will be able to work with the other being v 1.1 or v 1.0.
    PCI Express

    also,
    5770 or GTX 260 - I think I know the answer

    If not,
google 'GTX 260 vs. 5770' and you'll have plenty to take in.

    Hi,

I wanted to buy a HD 5770 or a GTX 260 for myself. I've heard that a HD 5770 is better than a GTX 260 core 216. Actually iam planning to buy one of these cards.

I have the below listed specific specifications:

    E7500 Core 2 Duo 2.93 Ghz
    3 GB DDR 2 800 Mhz Ram
    18.5" Monitor (1440*900) resolution max

I want to play all present and future games at maximum settings with (1440*900) resolution, especially GTA 4 and crysis. Please suggest me a graphic card.

    awaiting your reply

Get the Radeon 5770. You could get it for $150.

    No.

I can tell you the HD5770 or the 260 gtx are the best CHOICES, but only you can pick that.
