    install 9.12 drivers and then download and install:
    ATI Tray Tools

    right click the tray icon and select display -> settings. You can then re size and pan/zoom your display to fit screen... handy for HDMI connections to your tv.

    ATI Catalyst Control Panel


    I installed ATI Catalyst 10.3 but it doesn't open, yet it shows in task manager that it's process is active. Any help?

    What model card do you have? If it's NOT one of the newer HD 3x/4x/5x cards, it will NOT work with the default 10.x Catalyst software suite; instead, you will need to replace that with one of the "legacy" suites. Only the "legacy" drivers work now with the older cards.
