    5750 512mb versus 5770 1gb


    will i see a a huge diff between these 2 when using a recommended 1600x1000 monitor?

    Here are the ATI recommended power supply requirements for the ATI Radeon HD 5770 and 5750 video cards that just became available:


    450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connector recommended

    600 Watt and two 75 watt 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]technology[/COLOR][/COLOR] in dual mode

    I would not try it with a 300 watt PSU.

    I'd say yes, I have a 475 watt PSU and am running the XFX HD5870 1Gb XXX Edition w/o issue, it actually uses less power than the HD 4870 that was in it, just make sure the screw alignments and dimensions are the same and you're good to go.

5750 vs. 5770
in Graphic Cards

Looking into one of these cards so I can run 2 monitors and a hdtv. Anyhow besides port arraingments the only real difference I can see is a slight difference in clock speeds. And well, price. I don't consider myself a hard core gamer, but I do enjoy 3 or 4 titles* now and then. So I'm wondering...
