Intel 4500M - Screen orientation option not appear in Win 7

    HI ,

I have Acer 4736z , and installed windows 7 ultimate on it.

I have installed all the latest drivers from the Acer as well as Intel website.

Now my problem is, whenever i try to rotate the screen by using CTRL+ALT+UP arrow or thru INTEL Graphic Setup, screen doesnt rotate. Also seen that in "Screen Resolution" option of Windows 7 not showing the ORIENTATION option.

Please guide me to solve the problem .

    thanks in advance.

So, that does not rotate here in screen resolution? i going to try having a look at my intel card what's going on...Meanwhile try to do a quick SFC/Scannow

    EDIT:
Can't you really access either to rotate parameters in Intel Control Panel?

yeah. the option you shown for the ORIENTATION in SCREEN RESOLUTION as you shown.

As Intel shows option to rotate , but those are not working.

Screenshot of SCREEN RESOLUTION screen and Intel Graphics properties. Hope this will help a bit to better understand the problem.

Did you tried to uninstall the latest Intel GMA software from "Programs & Features" then on reboot check if the Tab Rotate Option in Windows 7 reappears? In that case Intel might override the Windows Settings.

Could try either to revert back to a previous Intel GMA version to see if its still the same probs? Or, reinstall your latest GMA if no previous one.

    HI ,

tried the same thing, i.e. removed INTEL Driver. but still no option of orientation appeared in screen resolution nor does able to rotate screen.

I don't know...it could be a bad install, check the driver version, try to install older version or this one.

Got that original Acer 4736Z drivers support site:
VGA Intel VGA pilote For UMA v8.15.10.1892 - 49.8 MB 2009/10/23
    and
    VGA NVIDIA VGA pilote For N10MGE1 v187.66 - 197.5 MB 2009/10/23
