ATI multi-monitor cursor bug/glitch?

AMD Game Forums - Windows 7 + Dual Screen Cursor Bug

Reason for posting this, is because i just started to get the bug/glitch. Got ATI 5870, latest driver, and recently got two monitors, which i shortly after started to encounter this bugged/glitched cursor on my second screen. Seems to be completely random for me, and only way to "restore" the cursor is a reboot it seems.

Anyone else here had/have this problem?

No, one Dell U2410 and one Benq G2400WD. Though did a reinstall of Win7 here the other day, and i can't see that this bug have happened since, though i'll wait a bit longer before saying it's "fixed".

Yes.

It makes no difference what monitors you are using.

I've only recently noticed it (last week or so) and it only happens 'occasionally' and after reading that linked thread - I don't hold out any hope of a permanent 'fix'.

Cursor Glitch
Every once in a while, when I go over a link, my cursor will become (for about a tenth of a second) a huge, kind of greenish-orange Link cursor. This has happened for a while... The earliest I can think of it happening was a few days after I installed Office 2010 Beta. It isn't really that...

How do I access my main monitor if broken in a multi-monitor setup?
I have a setup with 6 monitors. Today my main monitor broke and I couldn't find a way to shut the PC down since I couldn't access the main desktop to get to the Start menu. Is there a way to change which monitor is the main monitor without having access to the current main monitor?
