Start Menu=>Run + (type) regedit (open command prompt)

Then locate the Key "nvlddmkm" and delete it. Then reinstall your Acer Nvidia driver

Can't you right click the key, then delete?

No that doesn't work.

You might have to go on Safe Mode, Restart the computer and press F8 keyboard key, enter in safe mode.

This mean you have badly updated the Graphic Card previously and now it is difficult to make the original drivers trigger properly

I wanted to make sure deleting the key have not mess it again...

The bad news:
As far my experience drove me to that issue...i had to reinstall my Os all over again, years ago on a XP Os.
