A DVI cable doesn't carry audio, only video. Is there a mini plug audio connector next to the DVI input on your TV? If not, it doesn't support PC specifically. Just for any DVI video source. A Guy

    Hi,

As A Guy says a DVI port doesn't carry audio, you must have/use an HDMI or even Displayport to do that.
If there's a mini jack or cinch input connection on your tv you can connect that to the mini jack audio out on your laptop.
A other option is if you have a amplifier with speakers to connect it to a line-in on that.
