    ati 9800 se help me


    hi guys,
    i firstly want to say really great forum and i need helps
    i have old my system P4 2.4 ghz 2 gb ddram 300w ps old my card 64 mb geforce
    and i changed my video card with 128mb 256 bit ati 9800 see but i have some problem
    I installed the card driver automatically i don't know this is right so maybe i should install from ati website (each nearly) i want try again for new system points but system is frozen http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/4553/fdsfsdfdg.png
    i did reset and then give me this reason

    What would you recommend should I delete windows auto driver and then i should install from ati driver web site or if you know where please give me ati 9800 se driver link i am sorry my english i hope you understand me thanks in advance

    AFAIK, there is no W7 support/drivers for the 9800SE. You might to be able to get Vista drivers installed in compatibility mode.

    you right i installed this driver x86: ATI Catalyst Legacy Display Driver and good working thank you very much sir for your interest have a nice day..

    Bugger! .. have you seen the 9800 work before? if so how long ago? can you try it in another computer? The 9800 could be wonky .. but it works fine with generic drivers...hmm
