Are both 7 and XP installed on the same computer, or two different ones?

Okay. I thought you were saying you were removing the card from a PC with 7 on it, to a completely different PC with XP installed on it. That is a little different, and I don't feel that BIOS flashing would fix it, but I might try to get a second opinion on that. I'm gonna look for other possible fixes and get back to you.

Support for Windows Aero:
Your current graphics adapter will not support the user interface of Windows Aero. If you want to take advantage of Windows Aero, contact your dealer or computer manufacturer to see if an update is available.

I have already installed the drive it for Windows 7.

That explains it! Your card can't support the newer graphics of Windows 7. I suggest going to a local retailer and finding a new, cheap card that can handle it. I'm sure someone there can help you find what you need. Otherwise, you'd have to not use Aero and possibly some other fancier graphics of Windows 7 to get it to work properly.

Are you using AGP card?

My two old AGP Nvidia 6200 (256mb) cards easily support/run with Win 7 aero!

You must have a wrong setting somewhere.

Look in your Bios and set the "video aperture" to 256. preferably >128 or 64! Test and see if it works.

After you loaded the new graphic driver did you go into
"Control Panel" > "Performance Information & Tools" > Run the 'assessment' if it asks you to! Takes 5-10 minutes! Otherwise known as 'WEi'

Win 7 will crash on you and do other unexplainable silly things(like refuse to run Aero!) till you run this assessment!

Did you run windows update?
After installing my Win7 Ultimate, m/soft found a number of newer drivers which it loaded for the Motherboard (like pci bus) which stopped blue-screen crashes straight after update/restart!
