Just unplug your headset and plug it back in. If you see the system "detect new hardware" in your system tray, you are good to go! If that does not work, the go to your Device Manager and see if there already is a driver installed for your headset. If so, then you may need to open Sound in the control panel and choose your headset as the Default Device...

Upload a screenshot of your Device Manager and your Sound Panel.

security token? never heard of it. What browser are using? There might be special rule for new members, but I'm not sure. I'll look into it and be back in a minute.

Here is a full tutorial on creating a Screenshot. Everyone who owns a computer should learn this, it helps us to help you----plus you can share what your are seeing on your Desktop with friends, family etc.
Learn how to make a screenshot / take-a-screenshot.org

Whether it's Paint, www.irfanview.com (my favorite) or now in Vista and 7 "The Snipping Tool". Screenshots are absolutely a must have computer skill.

I would put the fundamental task of creating and editing screenshots in the Top 5 basic computer skills.

I seem to be having problem after problem. It says: invalid file now......

Anyways, I am using the VMware Player in XP mode.......I really need to find a way to get my USB headset to be recognized. I don't know why it says the Paint file is invalid
