If I remember correctly and that's a big if. it has a c shaped ring and you had to hold up the ring and slide the key under it.

OK so it popped off and it will go back on unless it's broken. Please note that the tabs that these keys go under are very fine and sometimes can bend. Please don't get crazy with the forces. I've found that if you glide the tabs of the loose key under one side then align the other depressing down with something like a un-clicked pen or pencil erasure that that can help it to click back into place. You may have to try this many times. You can also try this same technique but use a piece of thread to lock under the other tab and gently pull on it as you push the key back down then slide the tread out. The trick is calm and patience here don't get crazy!

Can you describe the way the keys attach? Also try inverting the keyboard if the locking mechanism will flop down then press the key in place and turn it back over......long shot.
