How can I put my laptop keys back into place?

While I was playing a game and pressed the control button (Ctrl) and the 'J' button, they both randomly popped off. I tried looking for some videos that would help to me put them back properly.

The two clips are still on the keyboard for 'J' and just the key itself is out. When I push down on it to get it back in place, the bottom half is lanky. The top clips on but the bottom doesn't.

This is for my laptop HP Compaq 6730s

Sometimes you have to press in the middle of the key to get to snap into place.

I tried pushing it on the top, right, bottom, left and centre; all at once, and one by one. Nothing is working.

Is there anything else that you could recommend because I don't think my warranty covers that.

If you want to see a picture of it, I can post one up.

Still under warranty? If so contact HP/Compaq and see what they have to say.

As mentioned above these thing usually just will snap back in unless they are cracked or broken.
I do know on my Denovo keyboard they were hed in by clips and they were not easily replaced I actually had to remove another just to see how it was held in place.
