Silicon is not exactly a good heat conductor.. core three probably gets the greatest benefit from your cooling fan.. may be as simple as that. Every multi-core system I've ever monitored the temperatures of usually has one core that averages a couple degrees higher than the rest

my max temp on cpu stress test at 100 percent for all 4 cores is 60 c is that good or how good is that two of the cores is max temp is 60 and the other two cores is max temp is 55 c but having a max temp of 60 c is that very good i need some expert opinion

Hi, I have a AMD Phenom X4 Quad Core 640 3.0GHZ Overclocked at 3.3GHZ On the AMD website it states that the maximum tempruture is 62 degrees, is this for the processor, or the cores?
