    Missing usb ports

When I install a local printer usb is not an option for ports
    on a 64bit pro O.S.
Does anyone know how I can add the usb ports?
They are enabled in device manager with no issues
I can use the usb ports with no issues at all
just missing when I go to add a local printer

    Thanks
    Don

Along with curtis's suggestion, go to manufactures website and download driver for printer using Win 7 64 bit OS
Fill out your system specs and then we can really help you now and in the future.

thanks for the advice but the issue is when I do the following
usb is not available on the drop down list,
I also have the cd for the printer and ran the install??????

In Choose a Printer Port, select Use an existing port.In the drop down menu, select the USB001(Virtual Printer Port for USB).

    thanks again
