    Format a HD

    Hello everyone,
I pulled an 80 gig hard drive outof an old server. So I boot the computer up and it reads everything fine so I open computer and it said it only had 1 gigabyte free so my question is can you format the drive without opening up setup.

Can you format it from within explorer? You should be able to right click the drive and pick format.

Did the drive have a recovery partition? What does Disk Manager say?

That seems like about the right size for a recovery partition.

    To many "its" for me.

Help me out here. Precisely who, what, when, where.

I would make some suggestions but I'm confused.

Okay. I was hoping you could describe exactly what you did for other people that come along with the same problem.
