Corsair, Crucial, OCZ, Patriot, Kingston.. As long as you don't use a budget line, you really can't go wrong. I had some OCZ Gold memory that is apparently not compatible with my AMD BE processor, the OCZ BE memory I have now is working perfectly though. I've used Corsair XMS memory before, I did have one failure with that but it was replaced quickly by Corsair.

Hi there
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING FOR THE MOST EXPENSIVE BRAND --these days for HOME computers pretty well all RAM comes from the same TWO factories but just have different labels and prices depending on the Factory and end supplier who is actually selling the stuff.

Just get the CHEAPEST RAM that fits the spec.

Cheers

Agree with that Jimbo. Its the label on the product that determines the price.

Memory

The brands mentioned in post are all pretty much fine. I think the most important thing when purchasing memory is visit your mobo site and get their "recommended QVL" for memory. Then when and if a problem pops up it will be easier to solve.

Stay away from "budget" RAM.

I use Mushkin Blackline, personally, for the warranty and service. I like OCZ as well, but stay away from their Gold series. I had two sticks fail in just two weeks.

Paying a little more for RAM might not get you better quality, but sometimes you get a better warranty with it. You get what you pay for.
