Express sound card

i'm thinking of buying a sound card for my laptop(Expresscard Slot) but i don't if i use it would i still be able to use the internal speakers or do i always have to plugin external speakers.

Unless a 3rd party sound card explicitly says so (never seen one that does), it will not play using your internal speakers. I know that one for a fact will not nor have I found one that will to date. You'll always have to use some form of external speakers or at least headphones.
