    PC crashed, so...?


    my bros desktop with xp crashed so, he bought a w7 laptop, he is trying to transfer files from old HDD using a USB to SATA adapter but he cannot find his music files on his old HDD, is there something we are missing in the transfer/search?

    this is probably really confusing

    I just loaded a student's XP HD via USB adapter. I think you will find the pictures several folder sub-directories down under the person's log-in user name.

    Did you run a "mp3" search on the root of the drive? This should have brought them up.
