SSD RAID 0 ARRAY and the TRIM Command

O.K. guys, whats the straight skinny on the TRIM operation in a SSD Raid 0 Array Configuration (if the drives themselves support TRIM and the OS is Windows 7) ???

Is it simply a matter of whether or not the RAID CONTROLLER supports TRIM ???????

Here we are in the latter part of 2010. Has this issue been solved yet or not ????

And if the issue is still a problem, how long before the performance of your average SSD ARRAY degrades to a noticeable point ?

And if it degrades is it possible to fix the degradation by making an image backup of the RAID 0 drive, then using a utility to wipe the SSD's clean or reformat them, and then restoring the image back to the RAID 0 drive. Would that not solve the problem ????

    Cheers

    Not taking a chance

Decided not to take a chance with TRIM in a RAID ARRAY so I will use a single 256 GB SSD as my C drive instead, just for the Win 7 OS and my other programs. NO RAID
All data will be kept on external 10K rpm SATA Drive :):):)
